This program was created and produced by USA Today Network-Wisconsin exclusively for Aurora Health Care to further point to the critical need for social change that will reduce domestic and sexual abuse and to support violence-free communities.
This program shined the light on survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. It gave them a voice and the courage needed to share their stories in the hopes that others in similar circumstances can find solace in knowing they are not alone and that resources are available to them through Aurora Health Care and partnering agencies.
Through this program, visibility was provided for member programs. There are more than eighty domestic violence programs in Wisconsin. The Aurora Heath Care’s Stop the Abuse program truly encompassed the strong spirit behind Aurora Care.
